Our Fabulous Vendors
A wedding is nothing if not a collaboration, between the couple, their community, and a load of talented people who work in this crazy industry all the time. Even with all our creativity, we couldn’t have pulled the day together without tips and connections and inspiration from experts and people who have been here before us. We don’t want to spoil all the surprises, but we’ll update this page with vendors and sources before and after the big day. Pass them on! They’ve all been a dream to work with.

Classical and pop harpist inspired by, among other things, the Beatles, Nina Simone and Bjork, which for us meant love.

Our dear friend Ding Dong provided the perfect music for dinner and dancing. Words cannot describe Ding Dong; you must hear him to believe him. Get in touch via Brass Tax.
Favors
Huckleberry Faye
Darling crocheted donuts (and hats!) handmade by my sister, the maid of honor, Katy Verga
The honey was gathered from resident beehives at Campovida, and jarred and labeled by members of the wedding party in San Francisco
The vanilla was home brewed by BeanTea. If you didn’t snag one, you can easily make your own.
Flowers
I arranged all the bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces myself, using succulents sourced from online and local shops, including Mountain Crest Gardens and the San Francisco Flower Mart, and even Ikea. Centerpiece dishes were sourced from vintage and thrift shops in the Phoenix Metropolitan area during trips to see my family – the selection is so much more fun out there.
Inspiration for the succulents came from all over, from wedding and DIY blogs to our Harrison Street backyard and Bernal neighborhood gardens. They’re now a favorite in our house, and we notice them everywhere we go!
Why succulents? Aside from being simply beautiful, graphical and geometrical, which we thought would be a nice contrast to the wildness of Campovida’s gardens, we love that they are hardy. Succulents require very little attention and even less water, which allowed me to plant the centerpieces way in advance and tend them for a while without fear that they’d wilt before the big day. More than that, succulent arrangements live on, which let us avoid the “one-time-use” pitfall of traditional cut flowers. We hope they’re warming your homes now! I’ll post something shortly about caring for your new succulent.
